Rental info for snorkel gear:  http://www.snorkelbob.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.exe/online-store/scstore/sbservices_packages.html?L+scstore+hdsr8320ff084b08+1115996508

Another suggestion for snorkel gear:  Hit up the local Walmart (directions here).  Then the gear won't be used, and you won't have to return it when you're done.  A snorkel set won't cost much more than a few days rental.  You'll need a mask, fins, and maybe anti-fog (works better than spit).  The cheap stuff works fine, just try it on before you buy it.

However you get the gear, we'd recommend 'dry' snorkels, because it's much more difficult for water to get down your air tube (unless you don't care about spitting it out frequently)
